The 2025 IWBF Asia Oceania Championships have tipped off in Bangkok, Thailand, setting the stage for one of the most significant events on the regional wheelchair basketball calendar. Hosted at the Centara Life Government Complex and Convention Centre, the Championships bring together the best men’s and women’s national teams from across Asia and Oceania, all competing for a coveted place at next year’s IWBF World Championships in Ottawa, Canada. Running from 7–15 November 2025, these championships act as a qualifying event for Ottawa 2026 IWBF Wheelchair Basketball World Championships.
The Rollers squad had their training sessions at AIS, Canberra as they look to approach the new year with a focus on holistic squad development with a core group of experienced players and rising stars.

Over four nights in July, the Boomers, Seven Consulting Opals, Rollers, Gliders & 3x3 Gangurrus men and women’s teams will come together for a massive series in preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympics & Paralympics.

The 2024 IWBF Asia Oceania Championships count as the zonal qualification tournament for the wheelchair basketball competition at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. Taking place in Bangkok, Thailand, it features the top teams from across the region.
