Born in Calgary, Alberta - Dejan 'DJ' Vasiljevic has called Australia home since the age of six.
Vasiljevic has represented Australia through multiple levels of the national pathway and was a part of the team that won silver at the FIBA Under-17 World Cup.
In his development years, Vasiljevic spent time at Basketball Australia's - Centre of Excellence before a US college stint for Miami from 2016 - 2020. The guard returned to Australia in 2020 and was integral to NBL championship success with the Sydney Kings (2021-22) and the Adelaide 36ers (2022-23).
DJ had a career year in the 2023-24 season, finishing 5th in the NBL for scoring (19.7 points per game) with his signature fearless demeanor on display. His form was acknowledged with a call up to the Boomers at the recent FIBA 2025 Asia Cup Qualifiers against Korea & Indonesia.
