Biography

Another Australian graduate of Saint Mary’s (2014-2018), the talented centre began his professional career in Europe playing in Serbia and Lithuania before returning to Australia.

Landale took the NBL before him in his sole season with Melbourne United in 2021, his dominant post-season form netting him the Larry Sengstock Finals MVP.

His dominant campaign caught the eye of several NBA clubs and he was signed by the San Antonio Spurs where he made his debut alongside fellow Aussie Patty Mills.

In January 2022, he recorded his first NBA career double-double with 11 rebounds and 10 points at the Spurs starting centre against the Clippers.

After 54 games with San Antonio, Landale was traded to Atlanta and then traded to the Pheonix Suns playing 69 games in 2022-23 and a key role in their Western Conference semi-finals series against eventual champion Denver Nuggets.

In July 2023, he signed a four-year deal with the Houston Rockets.
