Riak Akhuar (VIC), John Aryang (WA), Jordan Kaesler (QLD), Awak Machar Jr. (SA), Samson Nathan (NSW) and Riley Saville (NSW) will join the program. The names will be familiar as standouts at the Foot Locker U18 National Championships back in April.
The incoming pack will be under the guidance of Head Coach, Michael Czepil who has recently taken charge of the CoE Men’s program.
Riak Akhuar and John Aryang are already well acquainted with the pair being prevalent in the Australian Crocs bronze medal campaign at the FIBA U17 World Cup in Türkiye.
Alongside these two, Queenslander Jordan Kaeslar had an impressive U18 Nationals campaign, averaging 18 points across the tournament matching it with the top talent across Australia.
New South Wales prospect Riley Saville also turned heads throughout the U18 Nationals in April, with the son of NBL stalwart Glen Saville leading his NSW Country team with scoring prowess and defensive stability.
Awak Machar Jr. and Samson Nathan round out the new CoE inclusions, with both athletes showcasing their talents at the National Performance Camp back in January.
6 '10” Machar Jr. served as an integral piece to South Australia Metro’s bronze medal winning run at the U18 National Championships.
Whilst 16-year-old Samson Nathan has rapidly gained notoriety with brilliant performances for his Sydney-based school side Barker College.
