New online course connects basketball to careers

Basketball Australia is pleased to launch a new e-learning course designed to help athletes and coaches translate basketball into careers. 

The course, available via Basketball Australia’s eTrainu platform, aims to equip athletes and coaches with the skills to identify, translate, and communicate transferable skills from basketball into resumes, cover letters, job interviews, and the workplace.

This course is a great opportunity for our community to learn how and build the confidence they need to succeed in careers off court,” says Rhian Bird, Head of Performance Wellbeing at Basketball Australia. 

The introduction of the course is in alignment with Basketball Australia’s Win Well philosophy. Cementing our commitment to create better people and better performers.

The aim is provide athletes and coaches with the tools to lead sustainable and successful careers post sport.

Participants are encouraged to access the module to gain instant tools for success and invest in their future potential.
