CoE set for penultimate round of NBL1 East home and away season

The Centre of Excellence (CoE) will be out to make a statement as the end of the home and away season draws near.

With just two rounds remaining for the CoE before many of their players exit for the FIBA U17 World Cup, the battle for finals positioning in the NBL1 East is more important than ever.

Round 10 will feature two games on the road for the CoE with a trip to Central Coast on Saturday and a Sunday blockbuster against the powerhouse Manly Warringah.

Last weekend witnessed varying results for the two programs, as the CoE women move to fourth spot on the NBL1 East Ladder, whilst the men dipped to third.

The CoE women have regained form in recent weeks, winning their past four matchups as they most recently held off the Canberra Nationals in a one-point thriller to push their record to 12-4.

Meanwhile, the men's nine game winning streak came to an end with two tough losses at the hands of the Canberra Gunners last weekend

Aiming to bounce back in Round 10, the CoE men are set for another weekend of tough matchups with both opponents positioned in the top six of the NBL1 East Ladder.
