Basketball Australia has collaborated with the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) to create and launch a new officiating masterclass ‘How you officiate’ tailored with a basketball module for referees.
This resource compliments Basketball Australia's national officiating curriculum which was created in collaboration with the State & Territory governing bodies.
It includes a 40-minute masterclass covers integral functions for basketball officials with strategies on preparation for decision making, methods on strengthening decision making skills and the impact of officials on participants.
Content in the module features Basketball Australia Officials and filming was supported by FIBA Oceania at a 3x3 camp on the Gold Coast.
