The Seven Consulting Opals have refined a 12-player unit that will compete in a FIBA World Cup Qualifying tournament in Türkiye against world class competition from 11 – 17 March.
The roster for Istanbul features strength across all position groups, further bolstered with availability of stars from the WNBL as well as international WNBA & Euro Leagues.
Australia’s Opals will get the opportunity to compete against a slew of contenders for this year’s FIBA Women’s World Cup including Argentina, Canada and Japan.
The Opals and teams competing Group A have qualified for the World Cup summit in Germany this September and will use the tournament for competitive preparation.
