Tasmanian stats team confirmed
The three Tasmanian statisticians that will handle all the official FIBA game data:
- Julieanne Peach - Burnie Tasmania
- Isaac Close - Ulverstone Tasmania
- Sandra Farr - Devonport Tasmania
Peach noted the significance of the local lineup.
"What a fantastic opportunity to be able to fill a home-grown statistician table with local talent, that have worked hard to achieve this goal."
Scoretable team from across the state
The scoretable group also features an all-Tasmanian contingent that includes:
- Annette Lutwyche - Launceston
- Renee Maynard - Launceston
- Jason Featherstone - Hobart
- Rebecca Cooper - Hobart
- Lynne Males - Hobart
These Tasmanian groups across the statistics and scoretable teams bring experience from state leagues, national tournaments and major events hosted throughout Tasmania.
International referees appointed
The officiating crew for tonight’s qualifier includes:
- Daigo Urushima – Japan (referee)
- Takaki Kato – Japan (Chief crew referee)
- Xiao Zhang – China (referee)
Officials Workshop
A group of emerging officials attending the Officials Workshop coordinated alongside Basketball Tasmania.
The workshop featured FIBA-accredited referee Shannon Jenning.
