The Centre of Excellence (CoE) has celebrated the graduation of Nash Walker, Marcus Vaughns, Callie Hinder and Sitaya Fagan, acknowledging their development and contribution during their time in the program.
All four athletes progress into the next stage of their careers, set to join major NCAA programs in the United States.
Nash Walker has excelled throughout his tenure at the CoE, emerging as a standout in the 2025 NBL1 East season.
Known for his ability to attack the rim and shoot from range, Walker will take his all-round game to Marquette in 2026 continuing his development established at the CoE.
Marcus Vaughns followed a unique pathway through the NBA Global Academy, attracting significant attention after stints for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Portland Trail Blazers at the BWB Global tournament in 2025 and 2024.
At 6 '5”, Vaughn's explosiveness and playmaking have made him an exciting addition to LSU, a destination strengthened by his connection to LSU head coach David Patrick.
Sitaya Fagan graduates after leading Australian national sides at the U17 FIBA World Cup (2024) and U19 World Cup (2025).
Fagan has committed to USC, where her athletic style can add versatility on both ends of the floor.
Callie Hinder much like her fellow graduates, has signed for a large NCAA team, joining the University of Arizona. Hinder comes from a tenured Australian basketball family, with her father Russell playing a stint in the NBL and rising through the ranks of the CoE.
Hinder’s towering presence has become a standout feature of her game, being a force in the paint and dismantling opposition offences. Hinder represented Australia at the 2025 FIBA U19 World Cup.
Despite a shortened tenure with the CoE having joined in July, Hinder made a lasting impact on her coaches and teammates as she prepares for her next journey in the States.
