he FIBA Women’s Asia Cup will see the eight best teams and players from across Asia converge in Sydney at the Quaycentre to battle it out for glory.

The offer is available for the group stage (Mon 26 June – Wed 28 June), excluding games in the final phase (Friday 30 June – Sunday 2 July).

The FIBA Women’s Asia Cup will see the eight best teams and players from across Asia converge in Sydney at the Quaycentre to battle it out for glory. The Seven Consulting Opals will begin their campaign against the Philippines on the opening night of the tournament, with the match tipping off at the primetime of 7:30pm.

The FIBA Women’s Asia Cup will be a wonderful event for the whole family.

Sitting in Group B, the Opals will also line up against Chinese Taipei on Tuesday evening and third-ranked Japan on Wednesday, before the Final phase gets underway on Friday 30 June.

The Asia Cup marks the second consecutive world class event hosted by Australia within the past 12 months, after the FIBA Women’s World Cup was played in Sydney during September-October last year.

Basketball Australia CEO, Matt Scriven, encouraged families to take up this offer and experience the FIBA Women’s Asia Cup.
